Treasure
Hunt Story
The
sun was shining and the sky was so nice and blue, a perfect day for a treasure
hunt.
Before
our adventure, we were divided into teams and we were given a captain. My team
was Shu, Ally, Bonny, Kristen, Kristin, Robyn and Yanan. My team’s captain was
my father.
We
went to Shakespear Park for the treasure hunt, because of … fun! (Yes, Sir!)
Then
we went to have an adventure!
But
after the first five minutes I felt tired. I managed to walk to Shakespear Park
and thought, “I am so tired now – how can I manage to walk all the way back to
school after the treasure hunt?”
We
arrived at Shakespear park. The blue, smooth sea reflected the sunlight. We ate
our nice morning tea. Next we were doing missions to get the tresure map.
First
we took a crazy photo next to a tree. Then we made a sand castle on the beach.
We examined, “How many cockles can each person take?” We found the signboard.
Next we found monkey tails. They had fallen on the ground next to the
signboard. Finally our mission was to write our names in the sand.
MISSION
COMPLETE!!
We
got the treasure map! We found the treasure, but it absorbed a lot of time!

Treasure Hunt
Last
Wednesday the ESOL students went on a treasure hunt in Shakespear Regional Park.
First we ate a snack. We were laughing and talking together and we ate a snack.
It
was fun and exciting. The little children were so cute! The sea was very
beautiful and the sky was blue.
We
found the treasure with our ESOL friends and parents. The Treasure was Easter
eggs. They were very delicious and we had lunch together there.
The
treasure hunt was a lot of fun!
